We have a longstanding and extensive approach to community engagement and are proud to support numerous charitable and non-profit organizations in our communities. The majority of organizations we support have missions focused on environmental stewardship, hunger relief, STEM-based education, health and nutrition and local civic and cultural programming. When our communities face challenges, ASR Group lends a hand to support our neighbors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, and when natural disasters strike, we have worked closely with nonprofit organizations and other businesses to help meet the need for food and resources in our communities. During the catastrophic Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, our Chalmette Refinery, which sustained severe damage, served as a refuge for more than 700 of our neighbors. Through financial donations to the American Red Cross and other relief organizations, and through food donations to local shelters, we have worked to help those affected by other natural disasters, including hurricanes in Florida and Texas, wildfires in Northern California, earthquakes in Mexico, and more.
